COVID Hospitalization Attitudes and Testimonies
Far too often, the stories of COVID hospitalizations were
horrific. In many of the testimonies received for
this event, the callous
comments by doctors and nurses to unvaccinated patients
and their
families
are almost unbelievable.
You'll be hearing only a few examples.
I was first made aware of these attitudes toward the unvaccinated by a nursing
professor who submitted testimony to my committee in
2021.
Here's an excerpt of the story she told back then.
Quote,
"When it was determined by consensus of the faculty group that we were not to
allow any special accommodations, in other words, switching of
clinical assignments or sites to allow for unvaccinated
students
to progress in their degrees,
and that it would be standard practice in all other nursing programs soon,
one faculty member exclaimed to the group, quote,
'Good luck finding a new career!'
Unquote.
And the group responded
with laughter."
Let that sink in a minute.
They laughed.
They laughed at the thought of someone's dreams being crushed.
