African Trade: Mafia Allegations and High Shipping Costs
There are a lot of
mafia organizations that have actually overtaken most of our
businesses in Africa. Airline, shipping,
ports, you name it. So which means the intention
is to continue to make us Africans slaves.
And this has to stop.
And that's why now, because if you look at it today,
we export a lot of,
uh, clinker
from Nigeria to
Ghana,
uh, Nigeria to Cameroon, which is just same day
steaming, five hundred nautical miles.
But when you look at it today, we pay more money taking clinker
to Ghana
than bringing gypsum from Spain. Twelve days
journey,
we pay more money going to Ghana than the one that we are coming twelve
days from Spain. So that is the reason why we have also
opened a new shipping company.
