If you see any suspicious comings and goings

pay attention yourself

and report it.

Some poor guy had written to me that

“ You said that all of these people

must investigate or monitor,

but in the Quran it says‘ wa la tajassasu’— that is true, the Quran said it,

and it is binding, it is God’s command.

But the Quran has also commanded preserving a person’s life,

that everyone must‘ la taqtulu anfusakum.’

Raise this objection to Seyyed al- Shuhada,

that when Islam is in danger

all of you are obligated

to preserve Islam through spying.

When the protection of the blood

of Muslims becomes obligatory on everyone,

if you suppose that

protecting the life of one— not just one Muslim—

protecting his life depends on your drinking wine,

it becomes obligatory on you.

It becomes obligatory on you to lie.

If we see Islam in danger, all of us must be wiped out

in order to protect it.

If we see the blood of Muslims in danger, we see some groups are plotting

to attack and kill an innocent group of people,

then it is obligatory on all of us to spy.

It is obligatory for all of us to reflect

and pay attention and not let such an uproar arise, protecting the life of a

Muslim is above

Preserving Islam itself is above even the life of a Muslim

That is ridiculous talk that

comes from these very groups

It is implied that, well, spying is not good,

spying is spying Corruption is not good, but for preserving Islam

and for preserving

the lives of Muslims, it is obligatory,

Lying is also obligatory, drinking wine is also obligatory
