Statement on Khamenei’s Death and Iran’s Interim Leadership Council

The martyrdom of the Supreme Leader at the hands of

Israel and criminal America

was a great disaster for our country, but

just as in the Quran, God states:“ And Muhammad is nothing but a messenger.

Other messengers have passed on before him. So if he dies or is killed,

will you turn back on your heels?

And whoever turns back will never harm God in the least.”

The prophets and the leaders of society

came so that awakening

and freedom and truth and justice would be the message delivered

to the people of the country and the people of the world, and with their departure

this path will certainly

not remain without travelers, and America and Israel must know that for them this

will bring no gift other than humiliation, and our dear nation, who

today are in mourning

over the passing of this great martyr,

with their presence and by

being active in the field, in mosques and in the streets,

must join hands to thwart the evil plots of the enemies and,

based on Article 131 of the Constitution

Today the interim leadership council has begun its work and, by God’s will,

with strength we will

strongly continue the path of Imam, the path of our dear Leader,

and the path of all truth- seekers in the world and the Armed Forces of the

Islamic Republic of Iran are powerfully engaged in smashing

the enemy bases

and will take action, and will, as always, leave the enemies

disappointed

and in despair

Pray that God does not let us be a source of shame before all the dear

people of our country, and that we can be

people of integrity on the path of truth and justice, and once again,

regarding the passing

of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, which is a martyrdom after long years

of struggle, sacrifice, vigilance, and war against the oppressors,

may God gladden the soul of this great man

and keep his followers

enduring and honored,

in the hope of the victory of the Muslims over the infidels
