Prince's Warning About Technology and Media

Prince's 1999 warning about computers

is freaking people out

So, um,

one thing I wanted to say is, um...

Yeah.

Don't, don't be fooled by the internet.

Uh.

It's, it's cool, it's cool to get on the computer,

but don't let the

computer get on you.

It's cool,

it's cool to use the computer, don't let the computer use

you. Y'all saw The Matrix.

There is a war going on, the battlefield's in the mind,

and

the prize is the soul.

So just be careful. Be very careful.

Thank you.

But that's not all. That same year, he made another

prediction that also came true

There's a lot of, uh,

media-driven fear that, uh,

really is detrimental to one's health.

I don't think we were supposed to watch television

and take on all the problems

of the world. I don't think the body's equipped for

that.

You know, there should be just a day that TV just goes off,

maybe a week that the TV just goes off. What, what's so bad about that?
