Investigating Human Rights Abuses in Africa
Hey.
Oh.
You see?
Yeah.
You see, I have been practicing.
You see.
Good job.
Yeah. Well, I am so many things. He
couldn't say everything about me.
And something he did not tell you is that I have
achieved so much in my short career.
An example is,
I am the first from my family
to come to Uganda.
And I am the first Nigerian to sound like Ugandan.
True?
Yes. Very true.
Well, what is good for Greece is good for Uganda.
So I'm very happy to be here, and I'm really glad that you could find
time to make it to be here. I am not a flamboyant speaker,
but I think I look a little bit very good.
But you're gonna hear from me some of the most harrowing
stories out of Africa.
Since twenty eighteen, I have dedicated my life into
uncovering some of the most grievous abuses in
West and Central Africa.
It has come at the risks of my own life, and you're gonna find
out very soon.
Well,
I talk about blood and torture as the
price
for investigating one of the most dangerous groups on Earth.
This is a group
that comes from Eastern Europe.
This is a group that is trying to influence Africa in so
many ways. This is a group that has tortured many young
people,
the same group
that has raped multiple women, whether it's in Mali,
in the Central African Republic, or even in Niger.
Now, I stepped out
to do what many people thought was not my
business. But I wanted to prove a point
that people who go through the most difficult things in life deserve to
have their voices heard.
