Trump Allows Flávio Bolsonaro Into US After Brazil Election Loss
An image that's making headlines across the country. We'll show you this one.
Trump's ally, a man on the run fearing arrest.
Take a look there.
Behind that umbrella is the losing candidate for president of
Brazil given
safe harbor from the law by President Trump.
Intervention by the President of the United States in the case of one single
person. That's Flavio Bolsonaro, a MAGA ally arriving in
Florida, hiding behind the umbrellas.
A man who just fled his country despite the country's Supreme
Court ordering him to hand over his passport.
A man who was allowed into the United States because of one man's order to give
him
safe harbor, Donald J. Trump, who on his way to Ohio tonight
said this, quote-
I know that we gave him, uh, a pass to come into the country,
so we'll see.
Bolsonaro fleeing his country after calling the election rigged.
In a new statement tonight, writing, "On Sunday night, I watched in
horror as electoral fraud unfolded before my eyes."
Electoral fraud, now you get some of the connection, right?
That is the statement straight out of Trump's playbook.
In fact, Trump also called Bolsonaro's election
rigged.
Uh, now, that's- He called it rigged because Bolsonaro
lost.
Now, what Trump and Bolsonaro failed to mention
is that Bolsonaro is under
investigation for corruption, money laundering, tax evasion, accused of
pocketing millions of dollars from a disgraced banker to finance a movie about
his
father. His father, the former president who's actually in
prison in Brazil for
leading a coup attempt, among other things. Well,
that's a rap sheet.
So then what does Trump say about Brazil's former president?
A very outstanding man. President Bolsonaro is a good man.
They're treating President Bolsonaro very unfairly.
Well, if that's outstanding, hard to imagine what's better than that
