The Prophet Muhammad hosted the Christians of Najran in his own mosque

and invited them to pray there after debating them on a religion that they ultimately did not pick up,

they did not convert to Islam. He guaranteed the Jews of Medina the protection of their religion and their descent.

The book I believe to be the word of God says in plain Arabic there is no compulsion in religion.

That is the tradition that built me, that is the tradition that Proposition is asking you to declare suspect.

Free speech and debate is not something I do despite being a Muslim, it is something I do because of it.
