Qatar, Istanbul and London: Claims About Islamist Influence

Qatar is the

money. Turkey, Istanbul

is command and control.

London is money laundering.

How does this small country, and we really are talking about a country

of

several hundred thousand people,

how does this country become the nexus?

When I asked Khaled Hassan

about the Muslim Brotherhood

and Islamism in general,

he said there are

three capitals of

Islamism, London, Istanbul, and

Doha. How does Doha

become the beating heart

or one of the beating

hearts of Islamism?

I agree. I, I, I agree, I

agree completely with that assessment.

I think Qatar is the

money. Turkey, Istanbul

is command and

control. London is money laundering.

And these are the

three centers of an insidious

social movement trying to

undermine our very

democratic principles.

And the, the situation, I

think, with Paris Saint-Germain is a wonderful

example.

Here you have, you know, a m- a major

cultural institution,

a sports franchise with a storied history.

They win the, uh, European Cup.

Uh, Qatar Airways

flies the team back to

Paris.

The president of France thanks the,

uh, the emir for the support

that he has, uh,

given to the football club.

So you have the elite establishment,

uh, thanking the

Qatari regime for their investment in

the, in the sports franchise.

And at the same time,

on the streets of Paris, on the-- in the

urban settings across France, you

have an intifada for

three days. You have

people rioting in the streets,

committing violence,

injuring people, and destroying property.

So here you have the intifada

on the ground and the elite

influence, if not takeover,

of this Qatari regime

with their money. And to me, it's really

staggering and alarming. And

you see this being, you know,

played out in the

United Kingdom, uh,

certainly in the United

States, in Canada,

and in

other countries

increasingly. Qatar is the money.
