Health Tips for Common Conditions
What are they looking at?
If you look at your phone, you should look at your phone like that.
So maybe the person's at the computer too long, at the
phone. Ch- be, be mindful of your posture.
Varicose veins.
In my book Sustain Me-
... there is a chapter
called Lovely Legs.
And in the chapter Lovely Legs, I address
varicose veins and different things you can do, different stretches,
exercises, and also creams that you apply,
can apply. There is an element of, uh,
inherited,
but remember, genetics loads the gun, but lifestyle pulls the trigger.
How do you get rid of severe mold illness?
In my book Self Heal by Design-
... I address mold, and I also have programs in there
on how you can eliminate it from the body.
It's, it's going to a very low sweet diet,
so the only... initially just the fruits would be Granny
Smith apples, grapefruit, maybe, um, blueberries, which are
very low sugars, lots of vegetables, and, um,
it's actually the, what the person who goes on the Cancer
Conquering diet, after six weeks they will go on to
that antifungal stage
one.
And so I show in the book, go on a low sugar diet,
take the herbs that kill fungus, and,
uh, boost the balance back in the gut, and you can
eliminate yeast and mold from the body.
Any recommendations for degenerative discs?
Yes. Degenerative discs can
be managed,
and the story of Tristan that I gave you earlier,
which is just strengthening the core.
Remember, all of those core muscles are to the spine.
Now, when Jessica was about 30, she had back pain, and
she went to have an orthopedic surgeon who
x-rayed, and I think you had,
she had a,
a spur growing into the disc, a, uh,
slipped disc, was it?
Herniated disc-
Herniated disc-
... and a torn disc
... and a torn disc.
All the, all the spicy things.
And the surgeon said, "You need emergency surgery.
It's gonna cost $30,000", and Jessica burst into
tears, and the surgeon was just a young man,
and he felt sorry for her.
And she said, "Isn't there anything else?" And he said,
"It's a lot of hard work,"
and he sent her to a physiotherapist, and the
physiotherapist taught Jessica to be mindful of
emotional factors, physical factors,
and strengthen her core.
Jessica, did you have the operation?
No.
And you-
But core... I don't have any pain, but core isn't just your belly.
It's your thighs and your bum.
So the whole hips and the-
The whole lot
... and this is where your squats are very important
and your core strengthening. So it's an amazing story.
Remember what they said? Emergency surgery.
So any problems, slipped disc, herniated disc, spurs,
strengthen the core, but you have to be mindful
of when it's irritated. If you're doing anything that hurts, you
stop immediately. If you don't listen to the first whisper,
the body will
start screaming, and when it starts screaming, that's
when it's doing
damage.
So Jess, do you have to maintain your core strength
now?
I do, otherwise my back starts to ache.
There we go.
Then we know.
How do I control thyroid condition?
What's the best way to stop taking meds?
There's a book out there called Sustain Me.
And in that book there's a chapter on the thyroid.
Now, our, um, office manager at Misty Mountain, she
was on
thyroid meds for 10 years. She doesn't take any
thyroid meds now.
