Sergey Grabs a Knife as Daniel Cormier Considers Leaving the Show
Give me that knife!
And eventually Sergey is so mad because now he has a cut under his chin
that he runs into the kitchen and he wants to try to grab a knife.
Which is really one of the most intense moments that I personally have seen being a
part of this show for two seasons now.
Uh, Sergey went to grab that knife and,
uh, scared the shit out of everybody.
I had to grab the knife from one of the guys.
It was, it was really intense, and I think for the first time,
everybody on set kind of felt really unsafe. Bro, it's nothing here.
Don't get in the way of the strong ones, huh? Who's gonna hit me?
Bro, it's nothing, yeah. I'll cut you up, bro.
Something could happen in this house, right at the entrance, huh?
I'll cut you up, bro! Give me the knife! Sit down here. I'll tell you.
I'll tell you right now. Who hit me? Who is it?
Who hit me? I'm not that kind of person, bro! Sit down, I'll tell you.
I'll tell you. Why are you hitting me on the sly? Wait! Wait! Don't scream!
But I have to go, I think we're gonna go home.
I might give them their money back and stay home, man.
I don't know if I can, I can't, I can't do this shit.
It's too much, somebody's gonna get hurt bad. Like, bad. No,
I didn't know, I didn't know it was like this. It's like, really bad.
This guy got hit in the face, like, when he wasn't paying attention.
Like he was sitting there, and somebody hit him on the side of the face.
But now they're fighting outside.
Man, I don't know if I can do this, man. Tell him, this is too much.
Like, I might not be able to do this. Like, go back money,
like, go back money and I go to America. Please, please, we all,
we all really need you, bro. The knife? Yeah. We'll throw the knife away.
Daniel Cormier mentioned that he wanted to go home,
and obviously we can't do this show without Daniel Cormier,
um, especially this far into it.
You know, I stood up and I just talked to the guys about the fact that, ultimately,
this is a TV show. And ultimately, we have families at home,
and kids, and sponsors, and all types of stuff,
and none of us can afford to lose any of this. Right now, right now,
one of our coaches is, is debating on staying.
At the end of the day, Daniel Cormier is a big star in America.
He's a father, he's a coach.
It's his responsibility to make sure that his team is safe while they're out here.
At the end of the day, this competition, we're all on the same team.
I know you guys have real conflicts,
but ultimately our goal is to make good TV.
If we lose one of our coaches, we can't make good TV.
The fighting, the violence, it's a lot of fun,
but nothing on this show is worth losing your life, whether that's in the,
in the ground or in jail.
I understand how Daniel feels because when I see things like knives,
I personally don't really want to be here either.
So guys, please don't make it hard for myself or Daniel by making this
show life-threatening.
Thank you. [Applause] Also guys,
I, I just love to take the chance to say thank you to DC for staying.
[Applause]
