Media Consolidation and Political Influence
"It's okay when we do it,"
says libtards as they shriek from the
rooftops about the Ellisons,
David Ellison and Larry Ellison. Larry Ellison is
the multi-billionaire who runs
Oracle, and his son is running a media empire,
and that media empire just had a massive victory
in consolidating Paramount and Warner Brothers,
effectively bringing CBS
and CNN under the control of these two guys who, let's just say,
are friendly to Donald Trump. They also control a considerable stake in
TikTok,
and, uh, well, now Harry Potter.
So libtards on suicide watch
as CNN will be under the
control
of Donald Trump donors.
It's funny. Anyway, the point is is that they've won
after a bunch of liberal states decided to drop
a
massive lawsuit that was supposed to stop the merger.
It was already
approved by the Fed. That's normally the big hurdle,
but then the
states stepped in to try and put a tangle,
mess in front of this potential acquisition that would make a
very, very large media company. Certainly not the largest in the world.
Uh, ABC,
Disney still the largest in the world.
The number of news sites and the number of various publishing
entities and franchises that Disney owns is,
you know, almost insurmountable.
But you never hear anything about that because Disney's woke
and run by leftists.
Ah, it's never a problem when it's the left,
but now that it is people who have just been polite to Donald Trump,
well, here we go. Uh, the settlement of the lawsuit sets up
editorial independence
board for C- CBS and CNN. So this is what it was all about the whole
time. It was all about CNN,
that they, they couldn't stand the fact
that they could gut
CNN and turn it into a place that actually got ratings, which
is what would happen
if CNN did real reporting. The potential ownership of CBS
and CNN under
one corporate owner has generated months of fear, anxiety, and loathing from the
networks. Paramount/Warner Brothers Discovery
settlement
has resolved some of the issues with the establishment of an independent,
uh, executive board. Okay.
Whatever. It all boils down to who owns what,
and CNN wants to be able to continue to do this to Donald Trump.
They are particularly vexing to Donald Trump.
Every broadcaster in the world carried Donald Trump's
United Nations speech except for CNN.
Trump called CNN out to their faces in the lobby of the United
Nation.
... gonna cover me. You shouldn't- Hi, guys. So it's an honor to be here.
I'm surprised that CNN is here covering me.
You shouldn't be here.
We have an issue. We're out of seats, sir.
You should not, you should not be here covering me.
You said you weren't gonna cover me. You shouldn't be covering me.
It's just our assignment. But, but so it's-
It's funny. Roasted. It's official.
Paramount wins and will acquire Warner Brothers.
12 Democrat attorney generals, uh, have dropped their suit.
CNN will have a new, much saner owner. Huge media loss for Democrats.
Now they have just MSNBC.
Uh, the attorney generals have settled,
and now Paramount
merger will move forward.
Now, what will happen next?
Hmm.
Will they move Paramount to Texas, to Austin, Texas?
We've talked about... We even showed you the site
that they plan on moving
Paramount, which would be one of the biggest
Hollywood
moves ever, maybe the biggest Hollywood move ever.
If they turn a profit in Texas, then it would be the end of Hollywood.
Jane Fonda is freaking out. I don't give a damn about Jane
Fonda or what she has to say. I think that we should
send Jane Fonda
back
to Vietnam where she wants to live, and maybe we should
imprison her just for fun in one of the Vietnam prisons
that American forces had to live in
while she was protesting and supporting on behalf of the Viet
Cong. Exciting times, really. Paramount's have...
I would watch that live stream. It'd be neat. It'd be neat to see.
It'd be like Survivor, but real and
have a little sprinkle of vengeance to it.
Wow, exciting.
It could stream on Paramount Plus.
Paramount's official acquisition of CNN is a major loss for libs.
They have now lost Twitter, CBS News, and CNN, not to mention Late Night
is dead.
MSNBC is irrelevant. And they are panicking
because the shift is extreme. Nobody reads The New York Times, and
nobody watches MSNBC.
So what's going on next? The deal is consistent with the agreement reached
between
the states.
Paramount includes a requirement to release at least a hun- uh,
30 films annually,
additional 1.5 billion in US production spending in five years,
uh, restriction on combining cable networks
against negotiation, and an
editorial board establishing CBS and CNN, uh, significant
penalties for violations, including the potential forced sale of
other cable networks. Okay,
so there you go.
Uh, CNN is suing the president over the White
House ban.
Now we report that CNN is about to have a new owner, Paramount,
which is right-wing.
All right.
What will happen next? Never a dull moment.
Bernie Sanders is angry about it, so that means it's a good thing.
Far-left CNN is on its way out. Paramount is set to own it after 12
Democrat AGs folded.
There we go.
They lost.
They lost.
David Ellison shouts out Gavin Newsom for his support through this process as
Paramount and Warner Brothers merger goes through, giving Ellisons control of
CNN
and CBS.
Spencer Pratt's very happy. All the right people are happy.
All the wrong people are mad. Bernie Sanders is mad. Spencer Pratt
is happy.
Okay, great. For the record, David Ellison is weeks away from owning
CNN.
The White House ban is the least of their problems.
That's right.
They are freaking out at CNN.
Someone do a wellness check on Mark Ruffalo, says Critical Drinker.
Mark Ruffalo's blunder here should be studied.
These Democrat AGs already had a very weak antitrust case.
The minute Ruffalo injected his feelings about Israel and Democrats saw his
early tweets and tied ties to Bonita's lawsuit, it was going to
become harder to defend.
Good old Mark Ruffalo.
Helping everyone win here.
The mood inside CNN is like a funeral as staffers worry
that Paramount will
cast a new haze on the path forward for streaming and
independent journalism. Oh, good. Yummy, yummy.
In my tummy.
CNN mood is a funeral
as they are getting bought up and shipped out.
Just when staffers at CNN thought the news giant's path to the future was becoming
more clear, a new fog has set in. In recent weeks, Warner Brothers
appeared to have found its groove. Linear ratings, noticeably.
This article talks about how CNN has been working to try
and increase their revenue and subscription
revenue. They've been working really hard to try
and
get new stars and gain traction. Of course, they would never dare
invite on anybody who's an actual conservative or could actually defend the
president. But all that work could be for naught.
New corporate parent Paramount is set to take the reins of CNN
in October.
With change of control, they could entirely new goals in executing
them.
Even Mark Thompson, chairman of CEO of CNN,
seems to not know much about the next
step. In the coming days, you'll hear much more about what it means
to be
for CNN.
The mood at CNN is like a funeral, one person said.
CNN personnel has reasons to worry.
Paramount's management of CBS News has been controversial.
It's not been good for business of the news unit.
Changes made under Barry Weiss installed last year as editor-in-chief have brought
unnecessary scrutiny, public reports, blah, blah, blah.
Her takeover of 60 Minutes has been great, actually.
Weiss's decision to overhaul 60 Minutes, widely considered the jewel of CBS, has
left a vulnerable news magazine open to criticism. Oh, really?
Because they're actually doing stories that matter now to the American people.
Whether Paramount can serve as a good steward of CNN remains to be unseen.
Well, CNN can't be a good steward of CNN.
So
not really going to
worry there. You can't do any worse than what's
happened at CNN.
Caitlin Collins' explosive closed-door reaction to White House media ban.
A CNN insider reveals network revenge plot that will
infuriate Trump.
And twisted leverage conversation among bosses.
Okay, I don't think so.
You just got bought, okay?
You just got bought
by Trump's friends.
So trust me when I say, like, I think that these days are
over for CNN.
It is going to be a big uphill battle
for them to keep CNN libtard.
And if they could change CBS, CBS is a much bigger ship to
actually
steer and reposition. If they can do that at CBS, they can do it
at CNN.
It'll be fun to watch.
And we will drink their tears. It's your boy Benny. Like, share,
and subscribe.
