Discussion on Homelessness and Safety
Okay, I need to start this by saying, I don't think every homeless person is mentally ill,
but as somebody that has lived in big cities like San Francisco, I'm going to tell you
a story.
And why.
this is super dangerous so my friend was a model she was absolutely stunning it
shouldn't matter that she was a model but I'm gonna get to why this is this
story it's it's relevant so she's walking home one night after the bar and
she was only walking maybe a block and her friend had just left her
a random homeless person came up behind her and hit her over the head with a
bottle because the person was extremely mentally ill and needed to be locked in
a facility. She had to have reconstructive surgery of her face and
that was her income. So you can imagine what sort of stress that caused on her
life. This.
This is dangerous, there is no reason for this because you don't know which one of these people is on the street because they are so mentally ill that nobody will take care of them.
They are so difficult and combative that they can't go to a shelter, they can't get help, they can't get on any sort of program that would get them off the street.
Yes, there are people that fall on hard times and aren't using substances or drinking that are living on the street.
I get that.
But there are a lot of them that just have no one that wants to deal with them anymore.
If you know what I mean, because they are combative and insane.
So, giving them machetes, yeah, no.
So this influencer is under a lot of fire for this, and for good reason.
What do you think? Let me know!
