Soviet Carbonated Water Machines and Magnetic Field Claims

I still think it was one of the smartest things ever.

They put carbonated water everywhere in the Eastern Bloc

and in Russia. If you talk to anybody who's, like, 50,

60, 70 years old

about these machines, they were free on every corner,

and they gave carbonated

water. What they, what, what they trying to do?

They were trying to see if the astronauts on Earth, which

are the sick

people with a weakened magnetic field,

would show

changes in their health. And then what their plan was

is to try to come up with creating an artificial

magnetic field for the Russians
