Risks of Sunscreen Use on Skin Cancer
Hundreds of thousands of people in this study looked at the UK
biobank data, and they found that sunscreen users face increased risks of three major skin cancers
compared to non-sunscreen users. And so they faced increased risks of invasive melanoma.
It was like 300% higher risk in sunscreen users. They face higher risks of basal cell carcinoma
and squamous cell carcinoma. So three major cancers are increased, and that probably is
because a lot of these sunscreens are not only contaminated with benzene, a carcinogenic chemical
that's not supposed to be there, but also these other chemicals in them that are hormone disrupting
and carcinogenic and toxic. Because a JAMA study just came out that found sunscreen,
when you lather it all over your body, those active ingredients are rapidly absorbed into
the bloodstream way above safety limits. So think about that. Whenever you go buy a
sunscreen now, it's riddled with all these chemicals that's going into your bloodstream,
and that probably explains why the cancers are up in sunscreen users. Now also, when you use
sunscreen all the time, you're not going to have adequate vitamin D. You're blocking your skin's
ability to make the vitamin D that is essential for cancer defense.
