Understanding Worldviews and Faith
All right, what's up everybody? So,
I guess,
you know, I've been posting a lot here lately online
on X, and I feel
it's only, uh, appropriate that I actually,
uh, do a short video. I don't plan to, uh, take up too much of your time.
I know everybody's busy scrolling, checking out the world.
And, uh, great segue,
because if you look at the world right now, I know it's going nuts, right?
We have a lot going on.
We got a lot that people are refusing to understand or unwilling to
understand.
We have a lot of people confused about actually what is going on, and
it's not my place. I'm not gonna tell anybody,
uh, what they should think, who they should believe in,
what they should believe
in.
Uh, everybody's, everybody's worldview
is built by their own experiences, their own beliefs, their own
truths that they have formed throughout their lives,
and hopefully it's based on knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, and comes
from facts.
And, uh,
here's the one thing I would offer for 2026 is
take all your emotions out of everything.
Your emotions can have no basis of your decision-making
right now in the world.
You have to be willing to look at things that you never thought you would be
willing to accept and apply that in your daily life,
and that's gonna be
very hard for a lot of folks.
And
everything I give you will be from a Christian perspective. I'm a Jesus freak.
You're not gonna hear me apologize for anybody.
Um,
right the opposite. I'm a staunch man of faith,
and I'm gonna stand up for
Jesus Christ every chance I get because He's my Lord and Savior.
He's the way, the truth, and the life.
No one shall come to Him or go to the Father except through Him.
So, uh, now you know where I stand.
And with that,
as Christians, I think it's very important that we,
we kind of just go
back to basics, right? I think that's probably the most important
thing.
That's my way of looking at things from a very simplistic,
practical manner when I started off, right?
And what do I mean by that?
So, as a Christian, I look at the fundamental parts of any
situation,
good versus evil, right? Is it good or is it evil?
Well, now, that begs the question, what does...
We have to define what is good and we have to define what is evil.
All right? So now, the foundations of that, the way
that I rule that
or I, I lay those bricks is I go,
"Is it of God? Is it not of God?"
That's the, that's my foundation there.
And Jesus gives us ton of information
on how He expects us to live under the new covenant.
So, a lot of people conflate, in modern-day Christianity,
the old covenant versus the new covenant.
You have to understand, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, is risen.
He is alive. He dwells inside you.
He is with us daily.
The old covenant is great. We know where we came from, our very
extremely distant ancestors, the way God formed this earth,
the way we were made, what we were meant to do,
and of course, all the stories how humanity has screwed
it up time and
time again.
But
there you go. Is it of God? Is it not of God?
Does it follow the teachings of Christ and the apostles?
All right, good foundation. Now, if you look at that, we have to be very
honest about what those teachings are, the principles of Christ.
I will leave you with this.
I will say it on this subject. I'll say it just like this.
You have to be very honest with yourself.
You have to learn what God you serve, because you cannot
serve the God of the Old Testament only.
You cannot take and
deny Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior,
as our Messiah,
who has given everything for you, sacrificed for you,
given you eternal life after death, because He took
that sacrifice on the cross for you.
One cannot serve two masters,
bottom line.
And if you wake up any day and you feel the need to
compensate because of your feelings,
and you don't want to hurt people's feelings, then that's denying Jesus
Christ. That's denying your God, the one that you
say you follow.
So maybe it's time that we all look in the mirror,
it goes for me,
and we understand what freedom looks like,
because to be free,
you have to be honest.
All right? And if the truth will set you free,
that is Jesus
Christ, who is the truth, the way, and the life.
Bottom line.
Probably a good place to start. If I was you,
well, you've heard of what I would do. I'll tell you what I did.
I would draw that line in the sand,
stand behind it, praise Jesus Christ every single day
as I do, honor Him through everything I do.
And you know what? I reflect and I say, "God, if I have dishonored
you in any way, Lord, please, if I've not repented correctly,
Lord, for that transgression,
please hold me accountable and let me know through the Holy Spirit.
And if not, Lord, I will take my judgment as I
deserve for not having the discernment, the knowledge, wisdom, and
understanding
to know and realize that I should have repented."
You gotta wake up, people. You gotta wake up.
You cannot serve two masters.
God bless you.
Amen.
