Post-Race Analysis and Reflections
And I had the feeling
there was a lot of teammates around, everybody racing for
second.
Yeah, I, I mean, it's short after the race.
That's just what is in me now.
I need to watch it back, but my feeling is like, yeah,
we raced for second.
And can you try to add some more words on that?
In the final, how did you feel that, that you were the only one believing and
racing for, for the first place?
Yeah, if, like, if somebody like Demi is out, you cannot pull a bit.
Or you pull, or the race is over. So I think I
showed full commitment to pull, and some...
Like, most of them didn't. I mean, Puck is the only one that
of course ha- don't have to pull, and she was, she tried to annoy, which is,
I
think, fine. Everybody else has a big reason to pull.
And, uh, yeah. It's my choice, my, my mistake.
Uh, but I know if, like, if people like me, I'm just sitting in
and not really
pulling, nothing is going, so then Demi just wins.
So
yeah,
it's difficult.
Describe me the-
Better for you. Better next time not miss the move.
That's, that's for sure better.
Describe to me the, the last kilometers, uh, Marlen, because, uh, it was really,
really close that I think many of us thought maybe you and, and Elise,
Elisa came into a position to, to win that, that race.
From your perspective, how were the last, uh, few hundred meters?
Yeah. Yeah, I know that everything I can do is just
throw everything into this last ascent here to the finish line and just
hope that they look a bit too long at each other.
Was tied to Elisa at least, but, uh, was too much
for me in this moment, so fourth. Congrat to Elisa.
