Analyzing Smart Money in Trading

Lately, I've been focusing on smart money during

this crazy volatile

market. I wanna know what people who have a ton of

money are doing.

Are they buying things? Are they selling things?

Where are they deploying their cash? All that stuff.

And I'm using Finviz to do that. So today, I'm gonna be showing you guys another

tip, trick that I use on Finviz to see what the

smart money's

doing. Before we start though, guys, let's just take a moment to appreciate

We got the charts up top, top gainers, new high, unusual volume,

top losers, unusual volume, signals, wedge, channel,

double top, double bottom, news, all this good information.

After you click Insider tab here, instead of going over here to Managers

or Funds,

you're gonna come over here to Top Ten Percent Owner Trading

Recent Week. So all the transactions in here have

been done by someone or something, an entity, that

owns ten percent of the stock of a company.

So these are people with a lot of money riding on these companies, and

these are the transactions from last week.

So these are recent. They've been buying, they've been selling, and it all happened

last week. I'm gonna go over here to Buy

Transactions.

I wanna see what dips are getting bought by people who own a

lot of the stock. The top one you can see is VSCO,

Victoria's

Secret. I'm gonna put that on my watchlist. It looks good.

It looks beaten down, and this company, who is a ten percent owner,

has been adding a shitload of shares. Look at all the shares they've been

adding.

Look at the value of those shares. Look at their total shares, and it

all happened last week. If you want to as well, you can go to Sell

Transactions, see if any of your stocks are on here,

or see if any of these line up

with a potential short or put opportunity.

Uh, but I prefer the buy transactions. I wanna see what these people are buying.

And the reason these are so important is because people who own that much of a

company, they have a little bit of access to some

information

that we little fish don't. They're probably getting whisperings

through the

grapevine of this might be coming for this company, or, "Hey, I know you're a big

owner. Don't tell anybody, but we got this coming around the corner."

And

they're like, "All right, I'm gonna buy some shares before that."

That's the sort

of stuff we're dealing with here. So use this to your advantage.

Uh, keep an eye on what these ten percent

owners are doing, buying,

selling. Um, and yeah, just, you know, use it to your advantage, like I said.
