Yoga and Its Spiritual Implications
With regard to yoga,
that should not be practiced, because yoga,
by definition, the bodily positions and postures are an act of worship of
Hindu gods. First and foremost, the Kundalini spirit,
which is a serpent spirit within Hinduism,
which they believe lives in the spine.
Yoga itself is a practice to channel
the energy of the Kundalini spirit.
That should not be practiced by Christians.
It's incompatible with Christians.
You have to research the masters, the yoga masters,
and every single one of them will say that the positions and
stretching that is done in yoga,
each one of them is a representation of a specific Eastern deity,
which is a k a. a demon.
So that being said, yes,
people can become diabolically influenced.
I do know two women who became possessed from practicing yoga.
I know people who were possessed, and then by practicing yoga,
they ended up with more demons.
And so I just tell people,
you want to completely stay away from it altogether.
So the practice of yoga, the church does caution against that.
You know, the word yoga is associated with yoke.
So what is one yoking themselves to?
And the church says that oftentimes,
for the majority of people, they may not be able to separate the physical
exercise from
the prayers that are associated, the spirituality that's associated with it.
Because even the different postures within yoga are different prayer postures for
the different deities within Hinduism.
So the danger would be, maybe somebody begins simply for the physical benefit,
but then they may get intrigued by the spirituality that's tied to it.
