Manchester City Fans Discuss Premier League Verdict

Throw the book at them.

I'm a City fan, so personally I'm not happy at all.

Cheeks.

Fans came here to Wembley for England's match against Spain.

But what they want to talk about is the Premier League verdict on

Manchester City.

What does it say about the club and all their success?

What does it say about the game?

They've robbed so many football fans of their amazing moments.

People think they can just get off scot-free. I think it's disgraceful.

Hopefully they get done.

Relegated?

Yes.

Yeah.

But that won't happen.

That's what City's rivals think. What about the City fans themselves?

Are they prepared for such a huge punishment, a big points deduction that

they could now be facing? We caught up with some of the City fans

around their

women's team game against Charlton.

Over the last three years there's been talk about what punishments could be,

relegations, point deductions, all those kind of things.

If it happens, it happens, we've just got to take it on the chin.

It's not over till it's over, but obviously it's between the lawyers.

There is still no official word from the Premier League about the verdict, but

no one is disputing that City have been found guilty of

majority of the

charges of financial wrongdoing from 2009 to

2018, casting a cloud over such a huge period of

dominance.

We have heard from City's chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak.

He insists they are innocent, and they're gonna fight the Premier

League.

I'm a City fan, so personally I'm not happy at all.

Are you expecting relegation?

Hopefully not, but if so, to the championship we go.
