Yemen Conflict and International Involvement
The last time we spoke, you said that this was a war between you,
the Houthis, and Saudi Arabia. But increasingly,
this has become a international, uh, conflict and
issue with the US president now saying that he may consider launching
strikes, uh, on, on Houthis. Um, and we've seen
condemnation from other countries as well.
How do you react and respond to that?
The war is actually between Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
Saudis are the aggressors. Yemenis are defending themselves.
You know, both, uh, uh, when both sides
decide to end, uh, this, uh, uh, uh, military
campaign, this military action, there will be, there will be peace.
If any other country decides to get involved, uh, and
directly fight, uh, Yemen, uh, it, uh, it will be
their, uh, their own demise. We will, uh, we will not hesitate to,
to defend ourselves. We did not, uh, uh, commit any
aggression against any other country. Uh, we, we...
Yes, we did, uh, hear Trump, uh, saying that he might, uh, get
involved, uh, or, uh, not involve, and, uh, we really, uh,
do not, uh, care about, uh, what he has to say.
Uh, if you remember, uh, when we aided our brothers, uh,
in Gaza, the United States, uh, stepped in the middle, and they
tried to stop us from, uh, from implementing, uh, a blockade,
uh, over, uh, uh, over Israel. But, uh, the United
States failed, and, uh, we actually, we actually neutralized
all the, the American efforts to stop us from, uh,
from, uh,
blockading, uh, Israel. So we will not, uh, to hesitate
all the military, all, uh, legitimate U- United States targets
in the area if they decide to, to directly get involved in Yemen
