Personal Account of World War II in Poland

War.

Stalin and Hitler wanted to grab Poland.

Germany came to Warsaw from west, and

Russia come from the east.

Warsaw was completely bombarded.

Each one took half of Poland.

Russia took Polish people to work as

slaves.

Germany make concentration camp.

For five years, I was under Nazi occupation.

At this time, we start underground army,

Polskie Walczy.

I was trained as messenger and nurse.

I was happy that I can do something.

Hitler and Stalin went to war. Poland

was stuck in between.

Then Warsaw uprising. We fight with Germany.

We lost. We lost. We lost.

I was taken with my family to concentration camp.

frei.

I knew my life was different.
