Debate on Control and Expectations in Black Relationships
Black women have a superiority
complex and a craving for
power when it comes to Black men.
Yeah, I would agree.
I don't think they like Black men, I think
they want to control Black men.
I think they want to be the
man in the relationship,
but act like they're the lady
when they're not.
Because look at what happens when
the men have control over the women.
They arrange marriages with
women that don't want them,
they beat on the women when
they don't, when they don't do what they say,
and this is across the globe, like-
What are you talking about?
What do you mean? Women in other
countries, women in other-
No, I'm talking
about Black men in America.
We, as Black women in America,
don't even like Black men.
We want to, we want to control Black
men. We want the power over Black men.
We wanna say, "I have
a Black man." We wanna say,
"I have a husband," but we don't
move as wives.
Okay.
We're so busy proving,
"I don't need this,
I don't need that.
Men are worthless.
What do they bring? I don't need a man."
Yeah.
"Oh, my God, only thing I need
him for is to create kids."
Because they saw their granddaddy cheating on their grandmamma and the grandmamma
stayed. They seen their
mama probably get beat by
their husband, by their dad or
their stepdad.
How many, how many, how many
of these people did that?
You think that's a majority?
You'd be surprised.
I don't.
Okay.
I think it happens.
All right.
I absolutely think that that happens.
I do not think that that's the majority.
It just depends on what you're exposed to though.
A lot of-
Honestly, the majority, if
you even think about Black people
period, they didn't
have dads in the house.
It-
So they didn't see no man beating-
You're sort of ref- kind of proving my point
... beating, beating the mom.
You're kinda, you're kinda proving my point so what
No, I'm not proving your point.
No, I'm not proving your point.
Yeah.
My point is that how is it that
women expect a man to be perfect?
They expect him... But they're raising the men
that they don't even like.
I don't think women expect men to be perfect.
When have you ever heard a woman say-
Women definitely expect men to be perfect.
When e-
They have a lot of expectations,
but not, they're not...
Why, why is your mouth agape like this?
As long as he's six feet,
six figures, six inches, six-pack,
they'll start letting
some things go.
That's not perfection, bro.
Like, what am I talking about?
Bro, get outta here.
That's just the beginning.
Y'all are delusional.
But then you're married with an
allowance and you start saying, "But he doesn't
plan dates."
It's crazy work.
Shut up.
It's, if you sit here and you
literally think about how
women are never satisfied,
and the saddest part about it is
you've reduced the
Black man to only what he can do for me
