Are there any hate comments that have really stuck in your memory?

For me, right after I came back,

the thing I got a ton of was people saying,“ Wakatsuki’s reaction shot is so old,”

there was so much of that. Huh!

People kept saying,“ Wakatsuki’s wipe is stuck in 2005,” and I was like,

what does that even mean?

Nowadays it’s really not that over the top,

you just react in the VTR at the moments you genuinely feel something,

like,“ Mm- hmm, mm- hmm.” But like, fifteen or twenty years ago, you’d go,“ Whaaat!”

or whatever, and anyway you’d be doing stuff with your

hands all around your face, like that was what made you the winner, remember that?

And I was like,“ Huh, so‘ Wakatsuki’s wipe is old’ is something people say a lot,

I guess that’s how they see me,”

so I thought I’d try watching how other people do it,

and sometimes it was totally different,

and things like that let me fine- tune my own style,

so I actually like haters quite a bit.

But, the way I can really accept that and take it in is pretty amazing.

When it comes to haters who only say things like,“ I hate Wakatsuki,”

or,“ I’ve always hated her,”

and it is just about like or dislike, that does irritate me,

but something like,“ Wakatsuki’s wipe is totally 2005,”

that is a fantastic comment, right?

They’re really watching me so closely,

and they are someone who absolutely loves variety shows.
