Analysis of COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Data
Proper scientific inquiry often involves coming up with a
design plan and then sticking to it to see what the results are.
One way or another, this way you don't introduce bias.
CDC, I guess to its credit,
did come up with a design plan of how it was gonna analyze VAERS
data, the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting
System, when it came to COVID-19
vaccines. It came up with something called PRR,
proportional reporting
ratio, and anything above a two would be
considered
significant and would require further inquiry because it would be deemed a
safety
signal. After the COVID-19 vaccine was rolled out,
that analysis began, and we submitted, on behalf of ICAN, a FOIA
request for the PRR results at the CDC.
Did they find any safety signals in the VAERS data?
Were there any harms that had a PRR over two?
And when we finally got to see that data, it showed
incredibly concerning results. The CDC's own
predetermined approach to analyzing VAERS data showed that there were
many harms. In fact, the very same harms that people
were reporting had
PRR numbers that weren't three, four, five.
They were 30, 50, 100,
multiple times the
upper threshold of two that the CDC had predetermined.
If it goes above a two, that's a safety signal,
and we should be concerned.
When the CDC was confronted with, "Hey, aren't you terribly concerned?
This was your own objective, scientific approach to
assess is there a safety signal in the COVID-19 VAERS data,
it showed incredibly concerning outcomes." And the CDC said, "You know what?
We're not gonna rely on PRR analysis anymore.
We're gonna rely instead on something called empirical Bayesian analysis, EB
analysis, conducted by the FDA." And so ICAN said, "Fine,
let's take a look at what that shows." On behalf of ICAN,
we submitted FOIA
requests for the EB data at the FDA. And guess what?
The FDA wouldn't give it to us. Two federal lawsuits until we
finally, after a lot of litigation, got that data, and that
data, too, is very concerning. All
the data, the PRR analysis, as well as the EB data,
is all available on the ICAN website.
I encourage everybody, including independent scientists,
to look at it, analyze it, publish on it.
It just is more data that confirms what the V-safe data
has shown: incredibly concerning reports of
harm from the COVID-19 vaccine. The most concerning
part is how our federal health officials acted and
conducted themselves when the data showed that harm.
They hid it from the public, and without ICAN support
and years of litigation, it would probably to this day remain
hidden.
