Understanding Mental Overload and Emotions
Get five different speakers, turn on five different
motherfucking songs, and don't even just do hip hop.
Cut on hip hop, country, rock, heavy motherfucking rock, and
pick another one, and see what happens to your mind.
You're gonna say, "Damn, that's c-- I can't even think.
I can't even think."
That's what happening to your real life. But you wanna know the difference?
You grew up in an environment where you could not think.
So you learn how to exist without your mind,
without your voice. You don't have a voice.
See, when people say it's important to have a
voice, your voice is the one in your
head. You ain't gotta-- I don't have to say nothing to nobody as
long as I know
what's going on in my mind. So you grew up in an environment
where you never used something because you never seen the value of it,
'cause you never seen it. 'Cause you was driven out of it from the gate.
But right now, if you do that, you'll say, "Damn, I, I need-- I can't even
think." But you don't realize that the same position
you putting yourself in now with that experiment is the same position you
was born into your whole life. You was born into chaos.
You was born into
frequency overload on your brain.
Soon as you come out the womb, shit just sending you messages in your
mind,
and now you being driven out of your mind, and you don't wanna face reality
because you can't make what?
What?
Sense of it.
You can't make sense of it. You can't make sense of how you think
because you can't make sense of how you feel.
'Cause you don't realize, like I said years ago, your heart talk to
your brain, your brain don't talk to your heart.
It's called neurocardiology.
This is why the Egyptians weighed the heart, huh?
The state that, the state that you, the state of emotion that you in
is the state
of thought that you in. And what you feel like determines what you
think like. When you angry, you think different versus if you happy,
huh? Huh? So it's a different side of yourself
when you're
angry versus the side of yourself that comes out when you're happy.
So let's take that understanding and apply it.
Your whole life, you've been being overwhelmed
and overloaded
with messages.
