Solidarity with Pope Leo, peace talks and reopening the strait
What I said is what I think, that the statements, especially about the Pontiff, were unacceptable. I have expressed and I express my solidarity with Pope Leo. I will tell you more: frankly, I would not feel comfortable in a society in which religious leaders do what political leaders say, let’s say not in this part of the world. So I did not agree, and I told you so.
Clearly, the international situation is one on which we must keep working in order to move peace negotiations forward, make every possible effort to stabilize the situation and reopen the strait, which is fundamental for us, clearly not only for fuel but also for fertilizers, another key element for the sector we are talking about today.
