Criticism of Iran’s Support for Bashar al-Assad and Alleged Sectarianism

Hundreds of thousands of innocent people,

flayed and tortured

and cut into pieces and tortured in ways we have never seen in human history.

and flaying and cutting up the bodies of innocent people while they are alive.

And they order them to disbelieve in God,

to curse God,

and to say,“ My lord is Bashar.”

I watch them so I do not forget,

because forgetting their blood counts as treason.

The sectarian, fanatical takfiri is the one who declares most of the Companions

to be unbelievers and declares most Muslims today and in

the past to be unbelievers because they regard the caliphate of Abu Bakr and Umar

and Uthman— may God be pleased with them all— Do you want to know who is sectarian?

A sectarian is someone who,

in all of Iraq, found no one to support in achieving

justice for Iraqis except a son of his own sect.

In all of Iraq…

in the whole country,

is there no one but this boy?

Is this not sectarianism?

You found no one in Lebanon to support except a son of your own sect?

You found no one in Syria to support except someone who is close to your sect?

You found no one in Yemen to support except someone who is close to your sect?

If this is not sectarianism,

then what is sectarianism?
