Advancements in AI and Space Technology
Already built the most powerful AI training clusters in the world.
Um, and, um,
and then th-this is, this, this is what, what we expect to do by the end of
next year is about ten times more than what we've done thus far.
Uh, this will be very important practice for
space AI
and, uh,
and I, and I, and I do think that AI training will continue to be on
the
ground, but AI inference, uh, the,
the day-to-day use of AI will be in space.
So we're aiming to get to ten gigawatts by the end of next year.
Um,
this is-- It, depending on what the, the,
the value per, per watt is. If, if the value per watt is probably
gonna be
thirty to fifty dollars,
which means
if we bring ten gigawatts of AI online by the end of next year,
it will be three hundred to five hundred billion dollars a year in revenue.
Big numbers.
So... And sometimes I wonder, what is,
what i- is our purpose? And it, it could be that our purpose is--
w- that the purpose of humanity is to give birth to
a
star mind, a sentient sun.
I don't know what the AI's gonna think about, honestly. There's a lot to compute.
But, uh,
I guess th-th-this, this is the, the next step in the evolution of a
civilization,
is to harness the power of the sun.
Um,
I mean, there was a physicist,
uh, called Kardashev who
argued that you could consider any given civilization,
um, on the basis of whether it has been able
to harness,
uh, most of the power of its planet,
or most of the power of its sun, or most of the power of its galaxy,
and beyond.
Um,
so
that's, that's what's going to happen,
and we're going to do it.
So...
The fa- the, the factory
for
StarMind will be located nearby, a-adjacent to us,
basically.
Um,
they just come from space. It's amazing.
