It hurts me that I cannot reach everyone even though I try… I try so very hard.

I pray to God that I can reach more of you because I know how it feels,

I have been there. I know how it feels when you know you can do it,

but it seems like it is just out of your reach.

Your fingertips are almost touching it, you can see it, you are almost holding it.

You just have to be patient a little longer.

Keep doing what you are doing,

and it will happen.

Any other time when you trade and make five points and get out,

when you hit your target and feel good,

that invisible barrier is not there.

But when you start wanting to make more,

and you realize that if you could just be consistent with this a few times a month,

man, wow, what would that do for your trading? Man, that would make

you really special. You would be among the elite, you would be in that group.

You would be in the top tier of traders.

Everyone will look at you with admiration,

and you will feel satisfied with yourself,

and you will feel that these are truly respectable results,

because you might not think that consistently

achieving five points is something worthy of respect. Every day you achieve

that is a day worthy of respect, because it really is. It absolutely is.

So it is a balance that must be maintained as you grow.

At the beginning, you are very afraid.

You do not know what you are doing, you are afraid to enter a trade,

you are afraid of losing. You do not want to be wrong.

So at the beginning you worry about all the wrong things. But once you get

past all that through experience and training yourself with backtesting and

demo trading, and you start taking a very minimal amount of real financial risk…

When you decide to start trading with real money, you start with very low leverage.

And moving on from this stage will be slow. Not fast, but slow.

And the reason it has to be

slow is that you do not know what it feels like when you do it.

When you start building bigger positions,

whether that is in a funded account challenge,

or when you become funded by a firm, or trade with real money, these things…
