Discussion on Lindsay Clancy Trial
What we are seeing is that it is not safe for women to have
children in the United States with this Lindsay Clancy trial.
Oh, man, this should be good.
Lindsay Clancy was clearly in postpartum
psychosis, which can happen to any woman that gives
birth. It happens one to two times out of every
1,000 births.
Yeah, one to two out of every thousand is not common.
I'm not sure if you suck at math or what.
Also, I think it's pretty insane that you say she was clearly undergoing
postpartum
psychosis when all of her psychiatrists and doctors, including the one who
saw her the day before she killed her kids, said that that wasn't the case.
But again, I know you women who support Lindsay
Clancy think you know more than all
of the doctors.
That means 10 to 20 a day of women that give birth
in the United States.
I hope you understand that not all women who undergo postpartum
psychosis have
thoughts of killing their children.
Now, if you're gonna make that argument that, well,
it's a risk for all of these
women, and it's a hormonal change, and there's really nothing we can do to
actually
prevent postpartum psychosis from occurring with all of these women,
and they could
potentially lash out and kill their own children due to this,
I hope you
understand you're now presenting an argument for people to make
that I think is
a pretty good one, both on a moral and legal level, that mothers should
have their children taken away from them on the basis of, well, they could have
postpartum psychosis, they could lose control of themselves,
and they could kill
their children. That's what you're saying.
This woman did everything correctly to try to get
help.
No, she actually didn't. In fact, she lied to her doctors, told them
that she
wasn't suicidal, that she didn't have any plans of taking
the lives of her
children, and she even checked herself out of a
psych ward or a mental
hospital after saying she wasn't suicidal.
Like, if you believe that she was having these psychotic episodes,
which even she
doesn't claim that, she says that it was only an 18 to 20-minute period, which
conveniently is the time where she killed her children, but if you believe, which
you clearly do, that she was undergoing these things, which
are now excuses
in retrospect, then you would also have to agree
that she was lying because she
told her doctors that she wasn't having any of these
particular thoughts.
So you can't have it both ways. This is what all of you women do.
You argue on one hand, "Oh, she was undergoing all of these things,
all of these
thoughts. She was suicidal, all of this and that",
while at the same time arguing,
"No, it was a psychotic episode that she couldn't control".
It- you can't have both of those things.
They are torturing her through court with
tons of different pictures that she has to sit through,
awful explanations. They are torturing this woman.
Yeah, those pictures are evidence because her three children
are dead because she
killed them. The jury has to determine what happened to
those three children.
The medical examiners have to explain how they died.
I'm sorry you think that that's torturing Lindsay.
I'm sorry that she just has to go through a trial regarding the death of her three
children that she's responsible for.
Trying to say that she didn't really try to hurt herself, she was
not in psychosis, to punish all women.
Of course. All of you women at home who have nothing
to do with this, you're the
victims, not the three children who are dead. You.
