Survivor's Perspective on October 7th Massacre
I don't wanna let that fear or anxiety
rule my, my world, rule how I breathe, rule how, how I
walk, or how I get up in the morning.
I'm still me, you know?
It's been three years since the October 7th massacre here in
Israel. This is the site of the Nova Music
Festival, where
378 people were killed, and 44 were taken
hostage. We first came here just six days after the
massacre.
Look, people's mattresses, their tents, their blankets are still
here. We've been speaking with one of the
survivors of the Nova Festival,
Moran Stella Yanai, who was kidnapped and held hostage in
Gaza for nearly two months. October 7th, what happened before, what
happened afterwards, it's become a political issue.
Mm.
As a survivor, how do you feel about that?
I, I'm very mad about that.
You're mad about it?
Yeah, I'm mad about that, because there was none,
none of the politics revolve in that day.
So how can you take politics and attach it to it after?
