He killed hundreds of Syrians and raped their women, Amjad Youssef,

known as the Butcher of Tadamon.

One of the most wanted by the Syrian people after the fall of the regime,

so what do we know about this man?

He is an officer in Branch Region Two Hundred and Twenty- Seven,

which belongs to the Syrian Military Intelligence Directorate,

one of the regime’s most prominent security agencies.

He was born and raised in Damascus and became known for his brutality while serving

as one of the tools of repression during the Syrian revolution.

He is the main perpetrator of the Tadamon neighborhood massacre,

where he lured forty- one civilians from the residents of the neighborhood,

most of them opponents or relatives of opponents,

to a large pit after binding them and blindfolding their eyes. He shot them in

cold blood, then set fire to

the pit to hide the traces of the crime.
