California's Oil Dependency and Refineries

The United States is a net exporter of crude oil, yet California

has to rely on foreign crude oil-

Yeah, it's crazy

... because it doesn't have refineries.

And so how much will this new LNG facility help not

just with Alaska and Hawaii, but other, um, coffers here in the

United States? Do you have any thoughts or plans also on-

Yeah, I do. And, and it's a great question because it's so

unfair what

California's doing. They closed their refineries.

You know they had a lot of refineries.

They were actually the third or fourth biggest oil producer in the

country.

Nobody thinks of California that way.

They have a lot of oil in California, but they don't use it because of

the environmental lunatics. And, uh, this will help

the people of California a lot. You know, they're being charged so much.

It's so sad to see and how they keep electing these people

that have no

idea what they're doing.
