Discussion on Assumptions in Islam

I just saw someone try to expose Lilly

J for being a fake Muslim and using Islam to make money and I've got three things I

want to say about this Number one when did we stop giving our Muslim brothers and

sisters 99 excuses right Why are we not giving them an excuse of benefit of

the doubt Number two when did we start assuming that we know someone's intention

Someone's intention is between them and Allah and if they're doing something we

don't really know the root cause of why they're doing it Goes back to point number

one we should assume the best of people's intention And point number three why

are we publicizing that we think we know someone's

intention Can't that just lead you into backbiting and extreme slander Imagine on

the day of judgment you stand there and Lilly J has done so much work for Islam and

Allah holds you accountable for lying about her

intention That is a major thing Brothers and sisters we need to start assuming the

best I don't know much about Lilly J I know she's posting content about Islam It

seems like she's doing an amazing thing and regardless she's my sister in Islam so

I'm going to assume the best of her That's not crazy to think right
