Discussing Controversial Topics Online
Chosen ones, silence is golden. You see the things you know, you know the
truth about the industry, about religion, about politics,
about everything, right? You need to keep these things to
yourself and-or only speak about it online to strangers.
But I wouldn't recommend you go to family gatherings or to your neighborhood and
talk about these things, and I'm gonna tell you why.
Let me give you an example, and I spoke about this before.
Imagine your friend was a Michael Jordan fan,
and he collects Michael Jordan
sneakers, Michael Jordan jerseys, Michael Jordan basketball
cards, posters, DVDs, you name it.
This guy's a big time Michael Jordan fan, right?
And you're telling him at the time that Michael Jordan's playing, "Hey,
listen, the
NBA's rigged. They're helping Michael Jordan, and it,
it's all
fake." And he's calling you a hater.
He's, like, laughing at you, like you don't know what you're talking
about, right?
Let's say it gets exposed in the news, and they say they
admit it. "Oh yeah, the NBA was helping Michael Jordan.
There were magnets on the basket. Every time Michael Jordan shot the ball,
uh, they
pressed the magnet so it could go in.
And when his opponent shot the ball, they pressed the magnet so it could-
so they
could miss." And it gets exposed. It becomes, uh, headline
news everywhere. Everybody's talking about it.
When you tell your friend, "See? I told you so," instead of him
saying, "Thank you for that. I appreciate you always trying to tell me
the truth,"
he's gonna resent you. He's going to resent you,
and he's going to dislike you
because nobody likes being told, "I told you so." Because I told you
so sounds like I knew this before you.
I was able to figure this out before you, so that makes me smarter than you, and
you should have listened to me. That's what it sounds like to them.
So you can't be telling people the things you know, thinking that you're gonna get
respect in the neighborhood, thinking that they're gonna admire you.
They're not.
Talk about it online, where strangers and strong individuals are gonna
appreciate this information. But I don't re--
I wouldn't recommend you go to your
neighborhood or family gatherings talking the things you know, because if
you think you're gonna get respected, you're gonna be looked at as, oh, wow,
almighty because you know this, this information, you're not.
They're going to resent you. Trust me, I'm telling you from experience.
Keep things to yourself when you go around these people.
When you go around your family, act like... you know what I mean?
You do it for entertainment purposes only, and just speak about it online with
strangers that appreciate you and want this kind of information.
