two things I want to point out. He's talking about how to, uh, trim the

khat so it grows more full. Um, but you notice his cheek is

totally bulged out like that. Virtually every man in Yemen

has one cheek that's stretched out, and really old men in Yemen,

their left cheek will sag like this when you talk to them

because they'll jam so much khat into their cheek

and just chew it and spit, and chew it and spit, and chew it and spit.

They chew so much and pack so much in there, they actually

stretch out

one cheek. Khat is oftentimes incorrectly described

as a narcotic. It's not a narcotic.

It's a stimulant, and a stimulant will make you wanna

fight all day and all night, and the Saudis can't do that.
