Armed Man Arrested at Church Parking Lot

Police say just after 10 a.m.

Officers responded to a call about

an armed person sitting in a truck

in the church parking lot and nearby

off duty officer with the help of a

backup disarmed a man who they later

identified as William Milliken the third.

They say he was wearing body armor

and had two flamethrowers inside his

truck at the time of his arrest.

That's very surprising.

I'm amazed, but you know,

today's society that we're living

in right now and being a church and

reason why they have police officers

at every church function and

other kinds of functions.

In addition to flamethrowers,

investigators also found two crossbows,

more than 500 rounds of ammunition,

rolls of black duct tape,

and three knives.

He faces several charges,

including possession of a weapon

of mass destruction and a person

nation of a law enforcement officer.

Lee Barber says he's glad no one was hurt.

Here last year we had a Volkswagen.

A little van that caught

on fire in the parking lot,

so that maybe it's another thing like that,

but I know there's always a lot

going on in the parking lot.

Always something going on in parking.
