Ra’am, Hamas and the Two-State Vision

We're at war with Hamas, a criminal terrorist organization.

An unequivocal enemy. What, what, what do you say to that?

Do you consider Hamas a terrorist organization?

Even before we became Ra'am, a political party seeking integration and citizenship, we were an Islamic movement.

And since the days of Oslo, Sheikh Abdullah Nimar Darwish, the founder of the Islamic movement, came out unequivocally in public and political statements, and also in religious statements, in the context of Islamic religion, against attacks, against acts of terror.

That's true. I'm familiar with that too.

Against, against. And we've continued on this path for thirty, forty years.

No one from the Islamic movement, and later none of the members of Ra'am, has been investigated on charges of treason or endangering state security, or identifying with a terrorist organization or an organization hostile to the State of Israel.

And so, on this issue, you can't keep putting us to this test all the time, a test of loyalty, a test of obeying the law, of respecting people's dignity and life itself, and people's security.

You can't. Now. The State of Israel, the Israeli government finally made a decision that it—she— accepts President Trump's framework.

In fact, this is the framework, I came up with this framework before.

I'm not saying he took it from me. in which my vision is that two states will be established here, and that the orga— the Hamas organization and all the orga— um, military or armed groups will be dismantled and disarmed.

I believe in this concept of the state.
