Observations on Interracial Relationships
Hi, my name is Brandy. I'm a licensed behavior analyst,
and as always, my content
reflects my own personal thoughts, feelings, and opinions.
So I just wanted to share an observation from today.
So I happened to be out running some errands, and I happened to look
around and I saw this Black guy, and he just so happened to
be with this, uh, Asian lady. And when I tell y'all...
Like, I literally found myself looking around,
and all the Black
men that were in interracial relationships with both white
women, with, uh, Hispanic women, and with Asian women,
those brothers seem happy as, happy as a lark.
I'll just be honest. Like, I literally was just looking at everything,
the social interactions, just the...
You know like when a person is happy, they just exude happiness.
You can see, like, the peace on them, and that was one of the things that
I saw in common across each of those situations.
Like, those brothers absolutely look happy.
And I'm happy for them. So you know, obviously I have a very humanistic
approach to how I see the world, and that really showed me,
like... And o- of course, not in 100 p- percent of cases, but Black men
are really over Black women.
I'm not gonna get into the, uh, I'm not gonna get into the
rhetoric associated with, associated with that, but Black
men are really over Black women. Like, Black women are just not making Black
men happy, as happy as we were- did historically.
Like, Black men are really over it.
Black men are exploring other options. Black men are opting out.
Black men are finding their peace.
Black men o- are staying in their own lanes, and it's
unfortunate for one reason or the next that we can't get along and
build community, but at the same time, I do understand it.
And it's just so interesting to me because I can see it.
Like, I can see the happiness on these brothers.
Like literally me just making observations from a distance and I was like, "Wow,"
like, "this is really crazy" because I hear a
lot of the
stories online, but to actually see it in action,
like y'all really are not
making this up. And
I'm just gonna hush. I'm just gonna hush 'cause y'all about to
get me canceled.
But I can actually see it, and I'ma be honest,
like I'm not even mad at y'all.
As much as I love me a Black man, and a Black man will always be my
preference, I'm
just gonna be honest because I love the brothers.
But as much as I love you guys, I
understand. Um, all of us are not like that, and I
know probably quite a bit of your experiences have been that,
and I'm not mad at
you. If you find solace, respect, and loyalty
from a woman of a different race, by all means I will support it.
That's why I be laughing at y'all when y'all be in these comments making
little
snarky remarks. Like, you- that don't bother me.
Like if I see a Black man with a white woman, baby, if you're happy, if
that woman
makes you happy, have at it all day, every day.
I'm gonna always be in full support because I'm gonna be happy at the end of
the
day. So I'm never gonna knock anybody for their
happiness.
But Black men are really out here in these streets over Black women, and I ain't
even gonna lie, I get it.
