Safe Cleaning Tips for Babies
After what I just learned, I am never using baby wipes
on my little girl again. During pregnancy and infancy,
the nervous system and
hormones are still forming. That makes chemical exposure louder,
not more subtle. So many common household cleaners
are toxic to their developing
system. Here's what not to use and what to replace it with.
Baby laundry detergent, unscented castile soap, no fragrance, no
optical brighteners, none of the BS. Fabric softener or dryer sheets.
White vinegar. Soft clothes without that plastic coating.
Baby wipes, water, and organic cotton.
It's as simple as it gets, and it's so skin safe, you guys.
Air fresheners or diffusers. Just burp your house.
You're burping your baby, you might as well burp your house at the
same time.
Give it some fresh air. Babies don't need scent.
They need oxygen from Mother Nature.
Your baby's body isn't broken, it's just unprotected.
Clean isn't about being perfect. It's about removing what doesn't belong.
Quiet environment, strong nervous system.
