French Activist Claims PEP Listing Led to Banking Restrictions

Hey, do you know what else the French government has come up with to intimidate us?

In France, there is a very underhanded way of silencing identitarians who cause trouble.

The PEP database, which stands for Politically Exposed Person, is a system where police data is shared with banks.

When I began my activism several years ago, I had my bank account suspended for no valid reason.

When I tried to open a new account at another bank, they never called me back.

One bank after another, I faced rejection after rejection without understanding why.

Until one day, in a bank advisor's office, just as I was entering my personal information, a message popped up on the screen.

"Person likely to be exposed in the media for..." ta-ta-ta.

I couldn't read the full sentence, but that's when I understood.

I am listed in this database, which, ironically, was originally intended to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorist activities.

Like, guys, do I look like the type to go blow myself up in a crowd?

They don't just want to silence us publicly through censorship, they want to destroy us socially and now economically.

I know I'll never be able to get a loan to buy a house, for example, and I know I'm not the only one.

They want to discourage us from continuing.

And for a while, they succeeded. I was demoralized.

But thanks to you, I feel like I'm no longer alone and that our fight has a chance of being heard.
