Magic Performance on America's Got Talent

I have something for you, okay?

No, no.

But

I don't want anybody here, even you, to know what this is.

I know, but is it alive?

It's not alive. You're good.

Okay.

Okay, Sophia? So lock your hands around it.

Make sure no one sees.

And can everyone in the audience think of someone you care about?

When you have a name in mind, raise your hand.

Howie, I'll go like this. Just say stop.

Stop.

Right here, in the, in the blue. Can we get you a mic?

Can you please stand up and tell us your name?

Uh, Brooke.

Brooke, great to meet you. Brooke, no one in the world could know who you're

thinking of, right?

No, no.

Okay, Brooke, can you please just take a deep breath in,

and then as you exhale, close your eyes,

and just think of this person, okay, Brooke?

Okay.

This is, this is somebody close to you. This is your best friend, right?

Yes.

Brooke, just say the name over and over inside of your head.

Okay.

Three, two, one.

Tell us all, Brooke, what's your best friend's name?

Elijah.

No.

Open your eyes.

No

way.

No, no, no. This is America's Got Talent. We have to do better.

If you have a dollar bill on you, take it out, hold it up.

What just happened took place in Brooke's mind, so let's do something everybody

here can actually see. Simon, can you please choose anybody's

dollar here that you want? Point to anyone.

Right here. Can you please make your way to the aisle?

Yeah. Uh, come right over here.

Appreciate you choosing someone in the middle. It's all good. No, thank you.

Awesome. Okay, we need to make your dollar bill unique,

okay?

So can you please take this Sharpie?

Take your dollar, yes, and you're gonna write, with the,

the Sharpie, your

social security number on the bill.

No.

You have to. It's for the thing.

No, just write your initials, something to make it unique.

Yeah.

We good? Perfect.

JM, okay. Here, can everybody see?

We are gonna do one more thing to make your dollar unique.

We do this so there's only one dollar bill in the world with

your signature

and a corner that matches it perfectly.

Here, I want everybody to see this.

Inside like that. I am sorry about this next part.

And it's gone. But, but it's not really gone,

because before all of this, I gave something

to Sophia.

Sophia,

can you please open your hands?

Ah.

You can see that's a dollar, but it's not just any dollar.

It's missing a corner, and you can see his signature, the JM.

And this corner is not just a close match, Sophia.

That's...

What the... That is amazing.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Where's Brooke? Where's Brooke?

I'm right here.

Brooke, do you know your best friend's birthday?

Yes. It's February 29th, 2000.

Wait. February 29th, what year?

2000.

2000.

Brooke, you know every dollar bill has a unique

serial number.

Mel, can you read out loud what is the serial number of the bill that

Simon chose?

No.

42292000.

Shut up.

Thank you so much. I'm Adrian Cochran.
