Debate on Sharia Law in America
And so banning Sharia, Sharia means the way of God.
If we're going to ban it because we're a secular country, we should also ban
Catholic schools. We should also close down churches.
We should also ban synagogues and Jewish community centers, or else
there's a double standard at play here that's quite sinister.
I think part of people kind of scared of Sharia law
because what they're seeing, what happened in Afghanistan, in
several Muslim country where they literally doing it like, you know,
like try to apply Sharia law into the core where women
kind of oppressed maybe, women do not have
as many rights as men. How's your take on that?
So Islam and the charge of violence is directly
linked for those that have a genuine appetite for
understanding the
context of this. It is directly linked with the colonial
project, with imperial invasions, with sort of the, you know,
the hundreds of trillions of dollars in our military industrial
complex that, you know, creates revenue off of
arms sales that are not possible without justifying
warfare. So if I'm willing to murder people across
the globe, I'm pretty
sure I'm going to be willing to lie about them at least.
There are 11 million people. This is terrorism.
Is it not 11 million people that have been massacred in Iraq,
Pakistan, and Afghanistan since 9-11?
Is that not an act of terror as well?
Every single one of those two to three thousand lives that died on
9-11 was an absolute tragedy, right?
Just for reference, this Muslim leader is not in the Middle East.
He is right here in America. He is in Pennsylvania.
And he's saying that we cannot ban Sharia law in America because if we
did, that would be a double standard.
And we would also need to ban Christian, Catholic, Jewish community centers and all
that kind of stuff. But there is a big difference because we all know
Islam is extremely oppressive to women. They can't have education.
They can't do the career that they want. They have to be completely covered up.
There's also a bunch of other strict laws.
The thing is, Islam is a society. Islam is
government. It goes far beyond the other religions.
And just so you know where this guy is, he is part of the Islamic
Society of Allentown. Here is their mosque and their
website. Just to give you an idea of what they
are preaching here, that
five prayers a day. They're doing some martial
arts right here, self-defense classes.
Just to let you know where this is actually located. Here it is.
And the address is right here in Allentown.
So know that this is not in some far off country.
This is right here in America telling you that we cannot ban
Sharia law.
