Sacred Mathematics in Religion
In the spirit of my respect for all religions, I'm being fascinated
lately by the sacred mathematics of the Muhammadan times.
He was born around the sixth century AD.
So Muhammad described that the name of Allah had sa-
sacred characteristics. So the, it's the Alef,
Lam, Lam, He,
um, and it adds up to one, thirty, thirty, and five.
So it all adds up to sixty-six. So sixty-six was a sacred frequency.
Then they converted that into a magic square where all the
columns and rows added
up to sixty-six. But then it became even deeper than that.
They took the sixty-six and inverted it, so sixty-six became
ninety-nine, and they realized that there's ninety-nine sacred
names, like Al-Rahim, the Bestower of Mercy,
Al-Latif, the Most Gentle, Al-Aziz, the Most, um,
Almighty. So basically, they took these names and recognized
that you
could write the name of Allah on the back of your hand.
So Alef, Lam, Lam, He, and so the
name of God was on the back of the hand.
But then they looked at the palms of their hands, and they got the eighty-eight
values. So they said on the left hand is one and eight, that's
eighteen, and on the right hand, we've got the eight and the one, which
is eighty-one. So eighteen plus eighty-one
was ninety-nine.
So that gave us the ninety-nine names.
And they believed that Muhammad, who lived for sixty-three years, as
did many other prophets, was a subtraction of eighteen from
eighty-one.
But basically, this is the sacred mathematics of an ancient
religion that
recognized the unity consciousness of all people.
