Discussion on Lindsey Clancy Trial Impact
The weirdest thing ever just happened
to me because of the Lindsey Clancy trial.
So I've been following it since
the
trial began, and
I firmly believe like that Patrick
had something to do with it. I mean, if you're a sane person, you know
that he did.
My
boy's dad, we were in the car taking our boys to
the park, and he brings it up. He's like, "Have you heard
everything that's going on with this Clancy person?" I'm
like, "Lindsey Clancy?" "Yeah."
And I don't know what he said or
what I said
that led up to me saying,
"Yeah, he framed her because he was either in on it
or he did it,"
and
for some reason, that like
blew his top off. He became so angry, and
he was
like...
So yeah, he became very angry, and
um,
he was saying like dumb things, and I'm like, "Why is this
bothering you so much? Like, this does not affect our
lives. It's not like we personally know these
people."
And
I don't know. He just--
I feel so stupid for crying on camera because I feel it makes me
cringe so much when people cry and record themselves, but
I don't know. It's just so weird. Like why is this case
like affecting people's personal lives?
He became so angry that I was defending her, and
he's like, "This poor guy. Like she, she killed his kids,
and you're defending her?" I'm like, "Have you actually seen any
of the trial?",
and supposedly, he said yes.
I don't think he did. He's not very
intellectual like that.
And he said something very stupid.
He was like, "Wow, so..."
He's like, "Wow, so
if I leave tomorrow,
are you gonna be okay with the kids?
Can I trust leaving the kids alone with you?"
I'm like, "Why would you say that?" That's such a
stupid thing to say.
Like
implying that
I'm going to do the same thing she did just because I support her.
And I was like, "That proves why,
that proves why we broke up, because
you have this mindset."
Like if you're a woman, you know what I'm talking about.
Like postpartum is crazy,
and it's serious,
and when you have a man like that, it makes it worse
