ISIS Beheading of Christian Men as Propaganda
And before they beheaded those 21 men, with their knives, they
pointed to the camera and they said, "This is a warning
for all you people of the cross." The
21 young men, by the way, were marched on the shores of
Libya,
forced to their knees, and then ultimately they were
beheaded by ISIS. There were actually originally 20
young Christian men, and then one worker.
ISIS kept coming into them and saying, "If you convert, we'll let you go.
If you deny Christ, we'll let you go.
If you just abandon your faith, you won't have to suffer what your
ultimate end
will be."
They refused to do it, and the whole time in captivity, they
were praying.
The one other man that was kidnapped with them, who
was non-Christian-
Mm
... ended up giving his life to the Lord, witnessing that.
And then ISIS marched them onto the beach, forced them down on their
knees, and if you watch that video, you'll see that they're
whispering something. The men are whispering something.
They were saying, "Lord Jesus," right before their death.
That was what was on the lips of all 21 of those men.
What I wanna point out, too, especially about this video, is
that wasn't just ISIS's display of violence for that group.
That video was a propaganda campaign, and
before they beheaded those 21 men, with their knives, they
pointed to the camera and they said, "This is a warning
for all you people of the cross."
It was a warning to Christians everywhere.
