Advancements in Quantum Computing
The latest breakthrough we had, uh, we were able to perform a
computation in five minutes that would have taken one of the world's
fastest
supercomputers over, uh, 10 septillion years.
It's longer than our universe has been around.
But more importantly, uh, it shows that we can tackle
error correction in a way that we can build large-scale
fault-tolerant quantum computers.
Yeah, I would say to me, the quantum moment reminds me of where AI
was in the 2010s, you know, when we were working on Google
Brain and, uh, you know, and the, the early
progress. So I would say, you know, that's what it
feels to me. In a, in a five to 10-year timeframe,
I think you
will start practically useful, uh, quantum computers.
