Body Movement and Health Techniques
There is one exercise that connects the feet to the face,
releases the
fascia, and acts as a natural facelift.
You have three diaphragms, your palate, your pelvic floor, and your
diaphragm, and they all work together.
When one moves, the other two move to compensate and
adapt.
And the key is connecting each side of our body.
People think the foundation lies in the feet, but our breath starts within the
palate. So if we take our thumbs and begin to apply pressure onto
that spot, we're providing a signal which then catalyzes the entire
process.
When we cross our feet and we cross our arms,
we complete the cycle
called contralateral motion, and your body knows what to do
automatically, organically to rebalance and reset.
And this can be done at any age, at any time, and requires no equipment.
So Gary, why don't you explain how to perform it.
So what you're gonna do is you're gonna cross your right foot over
top of your left
one. Take as wide as a stance as you need.
So you take your right thumb, brace with your left thumb,
pulling down,
pushing up into the right side of your palate, twisting your head
backward.
As you're doing it, try and breathe backwards into your nose,
relax your
body. Don't push with too much force.
And from there, after you're holding it, you can begin to gently move
and twist to the side. This acts like a slight pandiculation,
and you should feel your entire body beginning to connect.
Because even though we know it as different parts, it's all
one system.
This universal signal pattern of moving back and forth
triggers your nervous system into contralateral motion,
rebalancing all aspects of your body, making your palate, your
pelvic floor, your feet, your hips, and your shoulders realign and
reset your nervous system.
Perform the movement for one minute on each side, and in between,
take one minute to walk around and allow your body to
relax.
Imagine one movement that resets your nervous system,
restores your breathing,
corrects your neck, your posture, and your gait.
This is the most powerful thing you can do to heal your body now.
Your own thumbs, your own breath, your own feet, your own self.
You are the only one that can heal yourself.
Thank you, Oscar. Changing the world, one palate at a time.
Thank you very much, Gary, for joining me, and remember, health is luxe.
