Historical Perspectives on Palestinians

David Ben-Gurion, the first prime minister of Israel, stated

that the Palestinians were descendants of ancient Israelites

and were

the actual Jewsies who remained in the land and later converted

to Islam or Christianity. This was written in his 1918

book, Eretz Israel, Past and Present.
